Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City Supports the Backpack Challenge 2018
Giving kids the resources they need to succeed can be as simple as a backpack full of school supplies. That is why the Eric Berry Foundation is making it possible for Kansas City students from disadvantaged families to start the school year with the supplies they need with the 2018 Backpack Challenge. This year’s Streetcar Scavenger Hunt in downtown Kansas City will give groups the opportunity to get to know the downtown area even better, have a lot of fun, and maybe win great prizes while raising money for a worthy cause. Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City supports the Backpack Challenge 2018 and will be in a tent downtown to have fun and help participants on the way.
Look for us in during the scavenger hunt! In addition to offering a clue to complete the scavenger hunt, our location will have a photo booth and Instagram connections. Come get your photo taken with an iconic Mercedes-Benz like the bold, take-no-prisoners G-Class!
How do I participate in the Eric Berry KC Backpack Challenge?
During the Backpack Challenge 2018 teams of 2-4 will get to answer trivia questions, find clues and complete challenges to get points and advance. The event will start at 10 a.m. with check-in, with the scavenger hunt running 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The grand prize for the day will be a training camp visit as Eric Berry’s personal guest. The closing ceremony will be 1:45 p.m. at No Other Pub (which is also where final score cards can be submitted).
Cost will be $90 for a team of four and $60 for a team of two on the day of the event and admission will be limited. Registration and more details is available at the Eventbrite event page. Hope everyone has fun, and we can’t wait to see you there!
